Comment:

Somebody at work activited the content advisor on Internet Explorer and we can't use it to use on the internet. We tried to disable it and it asks for a password. No one knows since know one knows who activated it. We can't remove IE and we don't want to format the HDD for this stupid thing. How can we get rid of this annoying thing? Is there a way to get around this? Anything helps. Thanks

This is where the Content Advisor Password is stored (Ratings).

Delete the entry in the right half of window called "Key".

Reboot

It should be reset. :)

If not, there are some freeware and shareware programs out there for download that I have run across that reset the password or delete it. Just have to look for them a bit...
