OS: NT 4.0
CPU/Ram: Pentium / 64 MB
Comment:
Just looking for some Freeware, Common optimizing tools (RAM, DISK, CPU) for a Home NT Machine used for normal word processing and Internet surfing functions.
It always seems that iexplore.exe takes up lot of memory after running for some time.

Many available...but first

Do you have any for of Disk Defrag installed?

I have been testing Perfect disk ..good for 30 days free and I am sure it can be uninstalled and re-installed later for another 30

Testing against Diskeeper which ROCKS but does cost ..I like Perfect disk.

Also testing several versions of Register cleaners...against one I paid for
