Changing printer share names

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to change printer share names on a network with Windows 95/98 clients as well as NT Workstations?
The share name doesn't affect the NT workstations one bit. However, it does affect Windows 95/98.
Is there an alternative to having to reinstall all of the printers manually on each workstation?

Yes, keep the name to the 8.3 DOS limit format. This is especially a problem with 95s. Better still, make the printer sharename 6 characters long.

Ned,
Thanks for your comments.
What I should have said is that I'm on a network with about 75 Windows 9x users that have existing connections to about 10 printers. I've been asked to change the share names of each of these printers. I was hoping to change the details easily without visiting each client.
