Comment:

I have an NT Server set with an IP address in a given range,
and have an external DNS server box providing workstations
the IP address of the server.

I am changing the address space of the network, and need to
change the IP address of the server. How does one go about
doing this?

I think you have DHCP set for your server.

Go into networking->Ip address and set your ip address. go to your external dns box, and set reservation for that ip address.
