To change a file association, open up "my computer" or windows nt explorer.

Click on View, then select "Options..." at the bottom of the view menu. This brings up the view options dialog box.

Select the tab marked "File Types" and scroll down until you see "Text Document"

Select this item and click on edit. You should see two "Actions", an Open action and a Print Action. Click on edit for either of these. This will bring up another dialog box and from this one you can change the association.

Hopes this helps.
