i cannot get the cd-rom drive to load on boot so i can install windows nt is there any way i can install it with in windows 95 running when i get to the setup on the bios boot screen the setup has a password that i dont know it was there before i owned the computer i hear some where that there was some kind of program that could load the cd-rom drive at boot... Just need some help... there is no support in my windows 95 for 32 bit applications y? only stuff that was supported by win32s will run will that still happen in nt ? is my hard drive formated wrong?help?
theres only 1 file on my windows nt cd and it is an iso file and im just confused with all that windows 98 boot floppy it doesnt check the floppy at boot either my 486 does but there no cd-rom drive in that and where to install 1
Yes the cd says right on it windows NT 4.0 Workstation it i got the cd at a garage sale and imsure that aint no pirate s**t anyway the floppy does boot now when inserted the dos 6.22 setup disk it worked so those windows 98 boot disk what about this how do i do this its just confusing
I have got the computer to check the floppy at boot i tested it ou with the dos 6.2 setup disk.The Bios is set to check the cd-rom but doesnt. i Have tried my 95 cd and XP but it still doesnt work.I found a windows nt 4.0 on a google search will that work? What about that windows 98SE boot disks how will they work?
sorry about that pirot disk or whatever i just gotten a real nt 4.0 disk and it has the file winnt.exe it the directoty i386 now do i run that after the 98 boot disk loads where do i get the boot disk?
At the top it u said that it will make 4 disks. Wheni make my disk it makes only 3 disk. havent installed nt yet because of crappy floppy disk.going to buy some more tommorow. so is there sopasta be 3 or 4 disks ?
