I cannot successfully login to a PDC on a different IP subnet than my client workstation. Any help in solving this problem?

Do you have a default gateway configured? Can you ping the PDC?
Do you have WINS/DNS running on the PDC?

I could type ideas for hours but ill just mention 2 simple things to try (EVEN THOUGH) you have WINS running.....

Add the Server to the 95/98 machines local
lmhosts file (be sure to add #DOM) if the
other server is on another Domain....

Also you might want to change the workstations Node type from BroadCast to
Hybrid.... It reduces the amount of broadcast's quite a bit, but more importantly tries the WINS server first before broadcasting....

Good Luck!
