I've got a laptop. Don't know much about them, but I can't log on. If I try one of the things in the pull down list, and they're not accessible or something. The last one is though, but I don't know a password (a friend has a computer that won't let them log on) Is there any way to start into DOS or something? Or create a new password?

Do a search on this site for forgotten password and you will find a solution, although this will probably mean purchasing software

Where did you get the laptop? Is it perhaps stolen? You should check with the manufacturer.
