Can't Access POP3 Mail when using NT w/Small Business Server

I just installed a small home network using MS Small Business Server (Back Office) & Win NT and can not access any POP3 e-mail accounts... I'd heard that there's some config changes that have to be made to be able to get to an outside POP acct... Anybody have any ideas? BTW, surfing the net is not a problem...
