Hi

I tried to delete a shared printer on my print server. However it wouldn't remove so I rebooted the server, the printer was then gone but the share name has remained. I tried to readd the printer and share it using the same name(as I have to do this for a number of reasons) it then says i'm unable to do this due to the old share still being there. How can I remove this share without a printer being associated with it. Thanks

You could try removing the share at the command prompt. Run CMD and type NET HELP USE to help on the NET USE command. You could try:-

NET USE /DELETE \\server\sharename
