since i once stopped "toshiba bios server service" because the associated BSER.EXE took 99 % of the cpu I always get the "cannot connect to bios server" message. Even after I started the service again - the same message.

Anyone has a hint?
(it is a toshiba sat. pro 4600 with NT 4.0)

I´ve put the "BSER:EXE" into another folder out of system32, because it consumes 100% of the CPU, but sometimes i put another time in its folder (system32) and no problems, so could you be so kind to tell me what is BSER.exe and what it uses for?
Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 with NT 4.0 service pack 6
