I have NT 4.0 and the printers just dissapeared. I tried to reload the printers but I keep geting an error message saying that I do not have a print processor. Can anyone help me. Yes the printer was hooked up and turned on.

Check the general tab on the printer properties dialog box. There is a print processor button that allows you to choose the data type for the printer. Also remember that networked HP printers need DLC protocol and the printer properties need to be configed to use a HP Network Port (needs physical MAC address).

I can not view the printer properties dialog box because it will not load any printers. This is not a network HP printer. I'm trying to load the printer for my computer only.
