hi,
i am just planning to make experiment.
i want to keep win95 winnt and linux in the same hard disk
can any body please tell me how should i doit what should be installed first and on what kind of partitions(logical and primary)
i'll really appreciate any +ve advice.

You have to install LINUX first, it needs to be installed on the first 1024 cylinders. Then install Win95 and finally Windows NT.

not true. I've got 98, NT4, W2K, and RH6 all on the same box.
The easiest way to do it is to get all of your windows OSs up and running. Set aside at least 1Gig for linux.
During the install of linux, specify that you want LILO on a floppy, and it will leave your MBR alone.
When you want to boot to LINUX, just insert your floppy, otherwise you'll go to a Windows menu.
