Comment:

When I start my windows NT, it automatically start up a service that cause the system to crash, i.e. I get the blue death window. So my system is unbootable and I can not even reach to the login.

How could I bypass automatic startup of services if they are already setup as "automatic startup". How could I get to the command prompt and stop whatever devices and services ?

My system is Windows NT v4 SP 5.0.

Please help ASAP.

Thank you.

Try and use the the vga or last known good setup on NT bootup.

Unfortunatly MS in its wisdom decided to incorperate the GUI in the kernel so getting to an NT command line is out of the question I believe.
