Original Message

Subject: BSOD - kmode_exception_not_handled
OS: Windows NT4
CPU/Ram: PIII - 128MB
Comment:
PC with NT4 gives a BSOD after a while (without even working on it), but also when working in Excel (for example).
Stopcode = 0x0000001E (xc0000005 0x801AF84A 0x00000000 0x00881703) kmode_exception_not_handled*** address 801AF84A has base at 80100000 - ntoskrnl.exe
Can anyone tell me how to solve/troubleshoot this problem ? Or give some tips/advise ?
Thanks !

start by looking up the particular stop code/exception message on MS's Technet or Knowledge Base databases.
