Comment:

My remotely-controlled workstation with NT4.0 has normally no keyboard, screen and mouse connected. It is operated remotely over WAN(ISDN). When booting the machine I see that the mouse driver is not loaded. However, for maintenance purposes (error checking if system gets blocked) I will go on-site and I need to connect the screen, keyboard and a mouse without booting the system first(!). The mouse will not function. Is there a possibility to force NT4.0 to load the mouse driver during booting-up, regardless if the hardware (mouse) is there or not. Via SW utility, via NT4.0 configuration or registry settings, or via a HW mouse emulator key???
