My work computer is booting up with the following error message: "WINNT/system/config/systemhardware profile\last known good menu"

My work IT people say the hard drive has crashed and the data cannot be recovered. IS that true? I've recovered data from 98 and 2000 but not worked on NT. Can you provide suggestions for data recovery?

Thanks

Not true. They just don't know how. Google search on W2K recovery software will tell you everything.
