blue screen on NT

CPU/Ram: 350MHZ

I have a Windows NT Desktop PC, with Office 2000 installed on it. When i attempt to open a word document i get the following error

0x00000050 page fault in non paged area

some documents open, documents brought on disk from another machine work, however some dont open and crash the pc. any advise?

tried that,repaired it, removed it, re-installed it .. even upgraded it to 2000 premium... still blue screens

any advice?
