We got NT server 4 SP5, running on Compaq Proliant 1600, with 2 PIII.
What happends is that suddenly (Once a week, maybe twice) the monitor goes blank, all session dissapears ( the programs running in the console stops, but some services continues working) , and Ctrl-Alt-Supr doesn't work. We should restart the server to work with it ( with a console session ).
It's quite the same that you get if you kill the explorer.exe, but here you have the possibility to Ctrl-Alt-Supr, and then start a new explorer.exe.
I remember that with previous SP,if you kill the explorer.exe, it restarts automatically, but now it doesn't (??)

Any Idea??
Thanks
Jose V. Sanchez
