Turn off the power, open the box and search for little switches on the motherboard (about 10 switches in a line). They may be under the power supply. Look for a switch that says "PSWRD" or something like that. Click the switch and turn power on. BIOS tells you to turn power off again, click the switch back and reboot. The password is now cleared.
In Vectra VL5 the switches on a red base and switch no. 5 clears the password.
