Hi,

We hope to complete a function to transfer a bunch of files from one NT server to another NT server, and send email when the transfer is completed.

I know in Unix, we can create the shell (perl) script to copy the file with SCP (ssh) and then send email.

But I have very little knowledge for NT, is there similar functions in NT? can we write script for it (with dos command??)

I appreciated any of your comments and suggestions!

AFAIK, there is no command line mailer in NT, so you'll need a 3rd party util.

the script to copy [xfer] should be as simple as:

xcopy d:\stuff x:\backup\

Is there any recommendation for the email tools which can be used with command line in NT?
