hey =) was wondering if anyone can help me... i have searched for info on this with no luck so far... Is there any way that u can automate an install of a network printer on a clients machine, by making an .inf file or script or something so all the end user has to do is double click a file to install a printer? the file would contain info like network path, printer name, driver location if needed etc... basically all the info u have to fill in when using the add printer wizard... but automated, so u dont have to use the wizard... =) i have 500+ end users who need different shared printers installed, and i dont want to have to worry about them making mistakes when installing the printers by getting the info wrong... would love it if i could just say "if u want to install this printer, just double click this file" and its done... any help would be much appreciated... thanks =) Mike.
