Hi,
I have two things I'd like to solve.
1) I have figured out how to set autologon by modifying the registry. If I read this link properly http://support.microsoft.com/kb/97597 it says that I must have a password in the default password field for autologin to work. Have I read this correctly?
2)This machine was owned by a company who set it up so that a window, which requires an 'OK' confirmation, appears right after hitting Ctrl/alt/del. How can I get rid of this window.?
Thanks,
John

#2 look in the registry for "legalnotice" delete the text from this entry which is the legal notice you are seeing.

#1 download tweakUI and use it to set autologon. You can do it without a password if I recall correctly.

Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

Hi Wanderer,
I have two entries containing 'legalnotice' - 'legalnoticetext' and legalnoticecaption' Should I delete both of these strings, or just their texts (value data)?
