Comment:

I have a Gericom notebook with windows nt 4.0 as os. I have a video card ATI Rage LT Pro with tv-out.
The problem is: when i connect the notebook to a tv, picture will appear black and white on the television (pal/ntsc - i can switch in bios between pal and ntsc). I changed the tv but the result was the same.
I have the correct driver for my videocard from ati site and from gericom site too.

If you have a poor quality cable or too long a cable, it may be dropping/weakening the chroma signal which is required to have the picture displayed in color. try a different video cable or a shorter one.
