OK, let's see if I can explain this. I'm writing an application for a local school board that creates student and teacher logins. They would like the ability for HelpDesk to create the logins from the board's office. They use Windows NT 4 Servers and all the domains are trusted between each other and all servers are connected by a 5mb fiber WAN.
Thus far, I'm using the actual system commands (e.g. NET USER JDOE password /ADD /DOMAIN) but I was wondering if there was a way to specify the domain that the system should use to create the login (e.g. if server is PDC of DomainA, somehow tell the system to create the new username on DomainB). All domains are trusted and HelpDesk has complete Domain Admin privileges for all domains, so privileges are not an issue.
I am programming this in VB6, but I was wondering if there was an option in the NET USER command to actually specify the domain to use.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
Matt

I've had an in-depth look at the NET USER command plus the NT4 adduser.exe utility and neither would appear to have the facility to specify the user's domain name.
It seems to me that the best way to get around it is for someone to log in as user Administrator for each domain in turn and fire off you program picking up the relevant input each time.
