Adaptec 4.02 and NT 4.0

When I reboot my system, as I get to the Win NT 4.0 desktop top I receive an error "can not attach CDUCF.SYS to driver." Any help would be appreciated. Adaptec 4.02, SP 6, have reloaded and only NT and Adaptec CD Creator installed anbd the same. Thanks all
