When my users are logging onto the Network, I have put together scripts to map drives, set-up printers etc, but although they are being validated onto the network....no account information is being tied to the logon. Example - user BT logs on using his own username and password, however the logon server doesn't see him as BT and therefore won't map drives using the sys variables....if anyone can shed some light on this I'd be extremely grateful.. NT 4 Network with 95/98 clients.
If you have more than one NT server make sure that you have the scripts being replicated onto the other servers. This is done by enabling Directory Replicator Service in the control panel.
