Dr Watson
An application error has occured and an application error log is being generated.

iexplore.exe
Exceptio: access violation (0xc0000005), Address: 0x77f64d28

We are using Windows NT SP 4 and IE 5 we also are connecting with a proxy server. This error generates when attempting to open IE. Then we get kicked out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

c:\winnt\drwtsn32.log

Go to the end of the log. There will be a list of hexadecimal numbers. One will say "fault" next to it. This is the .dll that caused the error. Match the number to the correct dll (this is at the beginning of the fault right after the 'task list'). If you go to microsoft's technet site and input the file name, it will tell you where the dll was loaded from. You can then reload a new version of the file. This should solve the problem.

I am having a similar problem. However, I have NT 4.0 with SP 6. While using Netscapte 4.5 and above, (not 6.), I get Access Violation from Dr. Watson. Is there a solution for this.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Jaggi.
