How can I access an application running on my NT Server from my Windows 98 Client. I have created a directory and shared it and now I want to see if I can access it from the client. There isn't a domain setup but we are part of the same group names PCS. When i try to go into the server from my client it tells me to enter an password for pcsdev01\ipc
I don't know what that password is. Could you help me out with the config.

Ok.. this is what I can imagine your problem is. you are first having problems accessing the share.
Sounds like you are a part of a workgroup so that means your NT server is a Member server. You need to go to the member server and add a username that is EXACTLY what you use on your Windows 98 Client. Go ahead and give it the same password as well.
now when you login to your Windows 98 pc and try to access the share you should be able to get into it.
Windows 98/95 unlike NT/2000/XP will assume the username that you logged in with and just ask for the password to the share... this normally sucks.. so you must have a username that matches the user on you windows 98 client.. give it a shot.
