Access denied starting service

Hello I created my own NT service using Microsofts page: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;137890 This uses INSTSRV.exe and SRVANY.exe to create a custom service.
The problem is when I go to start the service I get: Error 005: Access is denied. I am logged in as the Administrator and the Administrator can start and stop other services.
Anyone got any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I managed to get it to work. I don't know why but it was one of the crazy problems...... I deleted my service and started again, but this time I added my own step in between the dos command "INSTSRV.EXE" to create the service and doing the REGEDIT. All I did was started and stopped the 'empty' service. I don't know why it worked, but it works now......
