I have a 300gb Maxtor hdd which I installed in a win2k pro machine and ran a Large Disk Enabler tool from Maxtor so the Win2k would see all the drive. I then formatted and wrote some files to the disk.

If I now move the disk to an NT4 server machine will the OS see all the drive, or some of it and would my data be safe. I had the disk in the NT4 machine before the 2k pro machine and it only saw 134gb.

Also, the disk will not be bootable, just contain data.

Install SP6a before you put the large disk in.

I have 6a.

So I can now put the drive in and NT will see all of the disk ok?

I need to be sure as I am using this disk as an archive disk and have 30gb of files saved to it.

Thanks.
