Hi there

I have only 1 IP address but 2 computers:
1.comp Windows NT server 4.0,
2. computer Workstation
I need to make connection on second LAN (50 meters far). Using that second LAN, we can use Internet connection.
Problem is I have only one IP adress from that second LAN. What I need to do to make connection on the net via SECOND LAN.

Do I need proxy? Where find free proxy?

Thanx from Bosnia!!!

Only the computer that is physically attached to the Internet needs a valid IP address.

Computer 1 - with 2 network cards.
Card 1 - with valid IP address
Card 2 - with internal IP address

Computer 2 - with 1 network card and an internal IP address with it's gateway address being the address of Card 2 from Computer 1. Set up Internet connection to connect over LAN. Traffic goes from Computer 2 to Card 2 on Computer 1 which passes it to Card 1 and out to the Internet.

This is a simple set up but of course it is usually recommended that you use firewall software to protect your internal network from hackers unless you don't have a reason to protect it.
