Hi, i have a problem with 2 exact 3com nics, (3c509b ISA), both pnp disabled with etherdisk utility, with I/O 300 - 310 and IRQ 10 - 11. I configure windows with driver 3com etherlink III adapter, i configure IPs for both and irq information. The problem is that NIC number 2 on winnt uses the same ip configured to NIC 1, example: NIC 1 192.168.1.1 NIC 2 192.168.1.2 ( any other not equal to nic 1), pinging to this PC to 192.168.1.1 responds even i change cable to NIC 2. (so, nic 1 and nic 2 uses same ip, even i configure other) What's wrong?

To check the you configuation: --------- In the [Start] then select [Run], type in [cmd] and [press enter]. This will open up the command window. On the command window screen type [ ipconfig /all ] and press the [enter] key on the keyboard.
The fastest way to solve this type of problem is to remove one or both nic cards (control panel > network > adapters > remove)& (NIC "card itself").
Then install and configure one card at a time making sure that it is functioning correctly before install the next NIC!
