hello comuputer's folks!
I have some troubleshoots with the network of a customer , when they have more than 10 users connected to the domain, it tells the further connexions that it doesn't have permission to acces the domain, & then the PCs can't get acces to the shared dir on the server. We look at Licensing Manager, everything looks ok, we also tried changing the values so the serveur should allow more users. Someone told me it could because of an installation done with a NFR ( Not For Resell ) CD ... It's possible we made one day an update with a CD from our office that we get from MS ( this CD can be a NFR release ) We sold our customer the correct NT4.0 licence for there needs ...
if som1 has an idea ? how can we check with the CD Key entered witch version is it exactly ?
- we are wondering if we make a ghost of the server, & then try to reinstall it with the appropriate CD + CD Key

stop the license manager service and see if you have the same problem.

I agree, it is a licensing issue. If so, there will be an entry in the Event Viewer indicating a problem with License Manger.
