Help!! My machine gives an NToskerenel error when booting my nt partition. I am setup with 3 partitions Win98, WIn NT4.0 WS and linux. I tried installing a new maxtor drive using the Maxtor software. I canceled the install and removed the new drive. Now when i try to boot the machine the the maxtor loader pops up and after a second my Lilo loader pops up like it normally used to allowing me to either hit enter to go into Linux or type DOS which gives me my ntloader. From my ntloader i no longer can select my Win98 partition and when i select nt partition i get a ntoskernel file missing or corrupt error. Im certain my "valued" data is still intact and feel the maxtor soft ware trashed the lilo / ntbootloder data..... does anyone have any idea how to solve my problem? Pleaz help!! thankx, Roxanne

The error indicates that the ARC path in the boot.ini file is incorrect. The ARC path tells NT what partition to boot from, if it is incorrect you will get the error you have...
