Zonealarm not letting me share

i was able to set up a network at my house today between my two computers using a router. One computer running windows me and one running windows 98. Well, i realized that the zonealarm i have cuts off the whole sharing connection. I tried setting the zonealarm level of local to the minimal. But it still doesn't work. So is there no way i could have a firewall??
Is it true that my linksys has a router built in it?

The linksys router IS NOT ENOUGH!!!I have proved this to my own satisfaction but getting it up and running on my LAN.to get ZA to work just set the local network access in the "security" tab to LOW(as you did allready). Then click on "advanced" and "add other computers", then put entire range of IP's the router allows. i.e 1.xxx.xxx.xx1 to 1.xxx.xxx.245 It should work fine then.
