zone alarm installer problem

hi, the problem with the missing vsmonapi.dll and vsnetutils.dll-files during the installation of zone alarm is well known already. nevertheless, it still seems to be existing. i tried to install a newer version than 2.6, and even if i paste those files into windows/system during the installation process, the installer deletes them imediately. is there somebody who knows help?

I went through the same problems trying to upgrade ZA 2.6.362 to 3.1.395. search on ZA site for 'Uninstall Zonealarm' for your o/s and follow those instructions. I had to do it that way to upgrade my ZA. one thing is that the only way I found to get to the uninstall instructions was to do the search on the ZA site, as opposed to following links at the site.
