Hi all, Trying to send a html E-mail(actually just insert some code into a message) using IE6 and outlook express I now recieve the message- "your current settings prohibit running active x controls on this page,as a result it may not display correctly" I have dumped all the settings down to low and ticked every box I can think of that even remotely resembles running content of any kind and it still ownt work.Changed settings in custon area of... internet,local,trusted,restricted,and all over the advanced area. still nutin any ideas??I could allways do this in the past regardless of my internet settings!!I'm confused jimi_l

Sounds like IE6. You said you could do it in the past. Was that with IE5.5? The question I have, is, can someone with IE6 even recieve it if you could send it? I saw on TV that the BAD guys here latley were sending encrypted messages. Only bad guy's allowed, I geuss! Leaves you out! (grin) HAL8000

I dont know if it will recieve well.I know Some HTML E-mails that I get open and some display that message,mabey I'll send one to myself and see.I ususally use the "preview" feature to make sure I have no errors in the code and that is where I'm getting the message now.OE 5.5 is what I was using before. jimi_l
