yahoo pop up blocker

i have yahoo pop up blocker on my computer and when it blocks about 3 or 4 pop ups in a row, it causes explorer to have an error. i dont know why its doing this but its more anoying than the pop ups so i just leave it off. if anyone has an idea of why its happening then hit me up. thanx. p.s. its not spyware i checked already so dont tell me it is like some peoples replies to everyone elses questions.

Uninstall it through add/remove programs, reboot and reinstall it. If that doesn't fix it, I don't know.

You might try the Google Toolbar, don't enable it's advanced functions and it won't "phone home" (I've read). Since I use Mozilla (and Netscape before that) I don't have a lot of experience with IE.

If you use Mozilla or Netscape you won't need a separate popup blocker as they are built in with the latest versions and are much better and easier to use than IE .
