Try cleaning out your archive folder for messenger, look for the icons that windows doesnt associate with a program. These are probably boot codes. You can keep your messages. If you have been in chat and been booted enough, yahoo messenger files get corrupted along with other stuff. Time to reinstall. If that doesnt help post back.
