I just bought the lexmark x73 all in one printer/scanner and can't get it installed. I think it is a problem with the driver but don't know also now my modem itsn't working my computer doesn't find a modem please help anyone do not send e-mail i can't get it call collect (570)827-3241 and say computer help

I would suggest calling Lexmark tech support. I have had 2 Lexmark printers without any problems, except once. The tech support folks were very nice and effecient. The tech support # should be in the info that came with the machine.

I know what you mean, I also have a x73 and the scanner woks perfectly under xp, but the printer cannot communicate with xp. Weird. Lexmark say that it should work fine. Their ecommendation is to go back to 98se.

Try downloading the recent drivers from lexmark. that will do.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one having problems. The X73 worked fine with 98se but I recently bought a new computer with XP already loaded and it has been a complete nightmare. I had it up and running just fine ( after many attempts I must say) and then I rebooted once with out it on and now it won't work!!!! What a pain!!!

problem here under windows 2000. everything installs ok.. but it will only print one line and then just hangs in the queue. Ill have to call their support.

i just bought the lexmark x73 and ive been working at it for about a day now and i figured out it out have to be the drivers so i tried downloading them from the US website but after a while the download fizzes out. Its really beginning to annoy me and im afraid i might throw my new printer out the window. could anyone please help me with the most recent drivers or at least steer me in the right direction..
