OS: Microsoft ME
CPU/Ram: Pentium III, 128 MB ram

Comment:

When someone sends me an attachment to an e-mail and it is in Word, I cannot open it. The message says "Word Pad caused an error in MSWRD832.CNV. Word Pad will now close. If you continue to experience problems, restart your computer." I have Word Perfect, but not Word on my computer. Should Word Pad be able to open a Word document or do I have a problem with Word Pad? Thanks.
