Hibernate, in theory, should suspend your pc’s operation, swap the contents of RAM to disk, and restore everything exactly as it was, when you’re ready to continue. In practice, this only works if all your major device drivers are compatible with the process, which is not likely. Consult the contents of the \windows\nohiber.txt file on your cd for advice on what you need to update before hibernation will work properly.

I'm having the same problem with HP8860 - won't wake up after going to STANDBY. Since HP doesn't give you 'real' WinME cds, I don't have the \windows\nohiber.txt file. Do you know where I can get it? Thanks.
