Try uninstall all of your codecs (see add remove programs entries) and install a good codec pack in the place... I suggest you to install the k-lite codec pack... It works fine with all the different video files I ever tried to run on my computer. See that some codec packs can cause conflicts and incompatibilities depending on the installation options you choose. Installing codecs separately usually causes such problems too. What can these conflicts and incompatibilities cause? They can prevent you to play some video. I never see any other associated problem. The k-lite codec pack is secure, efficient and reliable. Try it. If the video you're trying to play is not corrupted, or if it does not uses a new codec that isn't present in the codeck-pack until now, it will works for you!
