The worst M$ OS since DOS 4

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

Like w9x, it runs on DOS, so it does not have the stability of NT.

It's slower and more cluttered than w98.

the only way to find out is to install it yourself and form your own opinion. Most people hated it.

Works fine if you know how to tweak it.

Good place to start:

How to run Windows ME well V.5

I sure wouldn't trade if for XP.

Be careful with this and follow directions exactly:

BETA 10

Don't remove rpcss and don't remove wmiexe if you have or plan to have a webcam.

Hi Frigidaire

A lot depends on what you want to use your computer for.

Can you supply that info?

Stuart

No problem for me on running Win Me. Got no trouble from the initial installing and further using. I use this OS from 2000 (really millennium eh!) until this moment. I am a faithful fan of it (maybe many people will be surprised to know this fact!). As Leroi said, you can be so proud of Win Me if you know well how to handle it.

Well, try to install it by yourself, if you don't like it or if you have a problem with it then you decide. Installing, reinstalling, repairing, an unistalling Win Me is quite simple. Experience is the best teacher eh ;) Good luck!

Thank you for all your kindness

Regards,
Fit :
