I recently got an optical mouse for my computer. It works great except occasionally it locks up. Usually in games(UT is the worst) but other times too. Ive got a USB-PS/2 Adapter on it right now but I dont know if it would make any real difference going to USB. My old mouse was only PS/2 so i dont think it would change anything. My mouse is a fellowes 5 button and no one at tech support seems to want to help me. I can put in a different mouse i borrowed into a USB and i can control my computer with that but this usb is kinda inconvenient. Any advice?
