Searching for files or folders doesn't work anymore.
I launch the search program from the taskbar & type text in the search files or folder field and hit enter. NOTHING Happens. Even though there are files within the search drives I've selected. This has only happened recently. Just wondering if anyone has seen this before.

Do you have TWEAKUI installed on your PC?
I don't have it right now (I am using Xteq X-setup this time around) but if I remember correctly the same thing happened to me when I changed a setting when I was using tweakUI.
I don't remember which tab but somewhere in tweakUI there is a checkbox that says something like "do not search from the desktop"
Make sure that it is set so that you CAN SEARCH from the desktop (UNCHECKED I THINK).
If you don't have tweakui maybe you might have an idea where that setting might be now that you have an inkling as to what to look for.
Did you change such a setting somewhere lately?

If you are using TweakUI make sure you have "Search Results" enabled on the Desktop tab of TweakUI.
