Need some help gang! I need to rename my Wininit.ini to Wininit.old to boot up! I get this message: Windows could not upgrade the file %1 to %2. Microsoft's "fix" is to rename it through Windows, problem is, I cant get into Windows before the error message is displayed and it locks up! I have a boot disk and will rename it thru DOS but I need some instruction on how to do this! Any help is appreciated!

Boot with an ME bootdisk.
Choose minimal boot.

At the a:\> prompt type each of these commands pressing enter after each one:

c:
cd windows
ren wininit.ini wininit.old

Pull out the bootdisk and press ctrl+alt+del to reboot.
