Reply: (edit)Check to see if the .CAB files are on the drive. I don't have ME but in 98 that file is in CAB 46. M2 If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

Reply: (edit)Put this into a batch file in the directory where the CABs are and run it with the file to extract. Like this: mybat.bat wininit.exe ::**mybat.bat for %%C in (*.cab) do extract /y %%C %1 ::** M2 If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

Reply: (edit)dbe, If the cabs are on your hdd, then you can extract one from them. To be precise, it's in the "WIN_17.CAB" A lot of ways to do that, but, I'll just give a link to a couple. If you need more ways, just give a shout. A little insite/help, on searching for files in cabs. In the "Search for files or folders named:", put *.cab In the "Containing text:", put the name of the file, and search your C:\ drive • MSKB 129605 • Good Luck, CrazyOne p.s. the 98 isn't the same
