Windows Temp Folder

I have quite a number of files in my Windows Temp Folder. Is it safe to delete them ?

Yes ,its almost always safe to empty out the temp folder ,if you have any concerns leave te files in your recycle bin for a week and see if you ever get a prompt when using a application that one of hsoe files ids missing ,then at least you will know where the file belongs .Usally files in the temp folder are un-needed files left in your temp from a installation a or download .I empty my temp folder whenever I find a wayward file in there ,its almost always after I've done one of the task described above ! They are, after all, temporary files - however, it's not a good idea to remove anything there if (for example) you've just installed/uninstalled an application, as often files essential to that operation are 'temporarily' stored there - after a reboot, no problem
